Hi very quick post for me today . My husband thinks I am getting still getting ready as he is waiting for me so we can leave for the day. No time to get a better picture.
I used my favorite washi tape from Paper Source and my NEW Fine Feathers Die from Waltzingmouse Stamps. I had had the Fine Feathers for a while. The sentiment is also from Waltzingmouse stamps.
I know there on dots on the tape, I decided to use last minute, but my main dots are in the single feather. The second layer on the feathers is gold vellum. I wish I could get a better picture.
Take care!
Hello Marybeth, My name is Robyn & I have a question. You use a lighter grayish ink on some of your cards, like the Dec. 13, 2013 "Buttoned Shoe" card. What ink is that? At times I like to use a lighter ink instead of black. BTW...I live in Dayton, Ohio... we're giving away free snow, you haul. Seriously, I know CA is having a tough time of no rain. Will keep you all in my prayers. I lived in Riverside from 1980-1984 & I know how hot it can get. Blessings, Robyn
ReplyDeleteFabulous card with those feathers and dots :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card and feathers Marybeth!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love that you snuck in a picture while your husband thought you were getting ready...I have to admit I've done that before, too. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Robyn , I will take the snow. The ink you are referring to is Stampin Up Sahara Sand and I love it for sentiments and lots of other stamping as well.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Marybeth. And, I am so impressed that you have made so many gorgeous cards using that Washi Tape. That gold vellum looks and sounds so yummy. Thank you for playing along at CASology.
ReplyDeleteOh Marybeth your card is elegant. Don't you love washi tape? Someone told me Costco had 20 tapes for $20 and of course I bought more for my collection. : )
ReplyDeleteOoooooo....love the gold behind your feathers! Perfect take on the cue card this week. Why didn't I think of polka dot paper? So glad you joined us at CASology this week!

Gorgeous sentiment, loved it on your previous cards too. :-)
Hope you'll have rain soon!
I wish it would snow over here in the Netherlands, it feels like autumn or spring, not winter at all. :-(
Bye and have a wonderful sunday,
Marjolein
Completely lovely! The shadowed vellum is perfect behind your feathers.
