My mother has a beautiful voice and often sang solos at Mass.
I get a lump in my throat just thinking about it.
I was so proud of her.( still am)
Ava Maria was one she sang often at church.

Ps. I sometimes sing this song too, when I'm doing the dishes and no one else is in the kitchen, ha, ha, because I can't sing as good as your mother, but it brings back sweet memories which I cherish!

You just brought back quite a few happy memories for me. My mum used to sing Que Sera, Sera to me, too. Also Tammy by Debbie Reynolds. And believe it, or not, we actually had a soloist friend of my parents sing Ave Maria at our wedding! But how lovely that your dear mom sang solos at mass xx
