Welcome to another 12 Kits of Occasions. Joyce is the host this month, and sent out an incredible kit! I love the colors. Thank you so much Joyce for sending such a fun kit! I had most of my cards completed a few weeks ago. It’s like they just made themselves. FUN!
We have two guest designers this month Sherrie and the lucky winner from last months kit, random commenter is Lindsey
Welcome to you both!
Joyce included a sheet of cork so I cut out a few of my own dies using: Savvy Dies Summer Set.
On the card below I used Happy Die from Serendipity Stamps.
As you can see I used the Lil Inkers Design Stitched Dies on just about every card.
I used Waltzingmouse Dies : Stitched tags and Folding tag.
Don't for get to stop by the 12 Kits of Occasions Blog for the complete list of supplies listed in the tab under the header. You will also see the designers cards and links.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful day!

ReplyDeleteWOW, Marybeth, great work!!! I love the cork die cuts, and the card with the 6 nautical images, super job on ALL of these!!
ReplyDeleteWow--Marybeth--what a bunch of fabulous cards. You did so many cool things with the kit--especially how you strung those nautical die cuts together, and all the fun ways you cut the cork. Love your tags and the card with all those squares--great way to use a lot of images in one fell swoop.
ReplyDeleteMarybeth, you created such fantastic cards and used the supplies in ways I never even thought of! I will be trying some of these out, you used the LI stitched squares so perfectly and love how you used the cork and tying the thread to the tiny anchors! Love them all. It is lovely having them all home but yes just a tiny bit of me misses the alone time. ;)
ReplyDeleteOnce again, me dear, you have blown me out of the water. (Need to keep up the nautical theme here.) One of the chief joys for all the other makers of these kits, must be seeing what you can do with them. You absolutely are THE QUEEN of clean and simple. Not just a few of these are amazing, but ALL of them are.
ReplyDeleteYou really made the most of the anchors and thought of a new way to display them each time. The dies and papers you chose to cut yourself are ideally suited to the elements of the kit (and it is a great kit Joyce did, isn't it).
Thank you so much for sharing. Hope your weather is saying, "Whoopee! I'm out of school."
Ohh...I am really loving that last card Marybeth! I love the knotted twine and and all the stitched squares and rectangles. I also really love the cute tag...great idea to use that barnwood patterned paper and the stars with it. It looks like you really had a great time with Joyce's kit!

ReplyDeleteMarybeth...so many fabulous guy cards! I love them all, so fun and so creative. My favorite of the bunch is your last card, I love how you took those fun little dies and strung them together with the rope, just too darn clever. And your card too, just so sweet and will look great on a gift for DAD! Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeletePerfect Masculine designs. I have such a hard time with those cards, but you knocked it out of the park and made it look easy! Love the color combo too!
ReplyDeleteFlipping out here Marybeth... so many things grabbing my eye.. the nautical "charms" strung on the twine - brilliant! The tag with the lifesaver eyelet - - gonna case that, but the one that made my chin hit the floor??? The stitched squares with all the different images in all the different colors. That is AMAZING!!
