Starting The Week With A Christmas Card

I had to share the beautiful flowers one of our daughters
had delivered on Mother's Day,
such a surprise and they are gorgeous!

It says stars right! Well, there is another star on the front you just cant see it,
there is also one on the inside of this card.

Good morning! Hoping everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day. Mine was wonderful!
I found some time this morning to make a card for Merry Monday, the theme is stars .
I stamped the Nativity from Serendipity Stamps in Stampin Up Red. I used two layers of foam for this shaker card. (I cant seem to get them from sticking to the sides of the foam tape)

Take Care

Stamps; Nativity and For Unto You Serendipity Stamps, Stampabilities
Dies; Lil Inkers Design, Stars and Stitched Rectangles
Sequins; Pretty Pink Posh

  1. Love the star window looking on the manger scene Marybeth! Perfect, serence Christmas image.

I dip a Qtip in talcum powder and run that along the edge of my foam tape to stop the shaker pieces from adhering to the sides (taking care not to touch the top of the tape that I need to adhere the shaker box closed).

Oh the bouquet is so sweet and gorgeous, it's a good idea to take a pic of it, so now you can cherish it for ever.

  12. This is STUNNING! What a sweet little image, just a precious card all round! Thanks for playing with the Merry Monday challenge! You could try putting a little baby powder or run an embossing buddy on the inside of your shaker to keep the sequins from sticking!
