Quilted Thank You Card

In all fairness, I did make this card before seeing the photo
(not a back link)
I am linking it because both my card and the photo are summertime fun and red, white and blue.

Hi there ! Hope all is well with you.

My husband had a week off so not much crafting. We were blessed to spend a few days at our daughter and her husband's lake house in beautiful Lake Arrowhead.

A few weeks ago I received the most beautiful patriotic quilt from my sister (brother's wife) . I made this card to say thank you.
I used the Papertrey Ink die ( that I use often) to cut material! It was almost perfect until I changed last layer of the frame to a lighter in color and fabric, material. I do love how easily the material cut with the die and a metal shim.
I will try post a picture of the quilt that I was given on July 4th.
Thanks so much for the visit !
God bless!

The paper is from MFT
