Christmas Village

Merry Monday #287
 {Colleen's Inspiration...}

Good morning !
My friend Colleen chose this fun inspiration photo for
 Merry Monday, Christmas Challenge.

I love it when I reach for a stamp set and see that I made extras.
The houses and trees were all ready to go.

I love making matching envelope liners, It seem to be a small addition of mine lately . This liner is from
 Wplus9 Designs

I added some fun foam to the back panel and foam tape to raise some of the houses. I added some glue for the snow. I love the new Gina K Designs Connect ( Simon Says Stamps ) glue in the tube .... It's always ready to go...always!

Thanks for the visit today!

Honored To Be :This Weeks Guest Designer

I used red and white.
I was so excited to see that my card won last week.  That means I have the honor of being the guest designer for this week.

trying to capture the glitter sparkel

I hope all my American Friends had a wonderful, long Thanksgiving weekend. I feel so blessed to be surrounded by loving family. To my non American friends I hope you also had a wonderful weekend.

I cold not stop eating all the left overs , pie, etc! (not very good in the willpower dep. )When my DH came home from golf this morning(we go to church Saturday evening) we went on a very long walk. I made sure we walked as far away from the house as we could.... then we have to walk back. It rained on us part of the way home and we loved it!

I was more than happy that this card came together rather fast.
I hope you will  play along . The Merry Monday design team has  some of the most gorgeous cards to inspire you with.

Thanks for stopping by.

We walked about 5 miles, one big circle. Our dog Major was in heaven !

Starting The Week With A Christmas Card

I had to share the beautiful flowers one of our daughters
had delivered on Mother's Day,
such a surprise and they are gorgeous!

It says stars right! Well, there is another star on the front you just cant see it,
there is also one on the inside of this card.

Good morning! Hoping everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day. Mine was wonderful!
I found some time this morning to make a card for Merry Monday, the theme is stars .
I stamped the Nativity from Serendipity Stamps in Stampin Up Red. I used two layers of foam for this shaker card. (I cant seem to get them from sticking to the sides of the foam tape)

Alphabets and Christmas

I so... enjoyed making this card last night!
Its nice to have time to get back into the craft room.
I added chunky glitter to the letters.

Good Morning! Well, at least it was morning when I started taking photos! It took way more time to photograph this card than to make it. I am sure you have all gone through that.

I just love this Floral Alphabet Cling Set from Serendipity Stamps.
They can be bought individually or in a set. I love them!
I used my Stampin Up Red Ink and cut them out with my Stitched Mats: Squares from Lil Inkers Design.  I love that the die fits perfectly with the stamp, it made it so easy to make this card.
The holly is from Papertrey Ink.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Two Christmas Cards Today

 and

Use three of something…..
I used three colors : Red, Gray and White.

Hi and happy Monday to you!
I made two cards today for M.M.

I heat embossed Serendipity Stamps: Christmas Dove . Used a bit of Glossy Accents and Lil Inkers Design Stitched Rectangles. The dove was hand cut. I didn't do the best job with that.

I do love how this one turned out and I always have fun with
 this set, from Waltzingmouse Stamps
A Cottage Christmas I used a bit of foam tape to pop us some
of the hand cut images, and added some glitter.

The 12 Kits of Occasions

Welcome to another beautiful and very cold 12 Kit’s :
Our hostess Renee from It's a Patchwork Life
Thank You Renee for a very fun packed Kit.
 I loved the pink!
Oh my gosh I have so much left!

I have a very random selection of cards today!

I am entering this snowman card in the
 Anything goes.

Oh my goodness this glitter paper is amazing in
person, so I just let it shine!

Renee stamped so many beautiful pink sentiments I decided to make a card out of them.

I may have cluttered this one up a bit…
I just kept adding and adding.

I am adding the card above to Merry Monday

I would have liked to have the word snow at the lower edge,
but I had to hide a tear.

Please stop by 12 Kit’s Blog to get the full supply list, click on the tabs under the banner. You will also get all the details about our group.
We  have a guest designer with us Judy Marino
Welcome Judy, and I loved the card you added to our 12 Kit's
I hope you have a wonderful week!

Gold Embossed Holly

This photo shows the embossing a bit better.

 I used  gold and red

Hello, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.
We spent ours with family and friends. Not much time for crafting though.
I missed playing in Merry Monday .. just way to much going on last few weeks. I knew after seeing the DT cards that I wanted to play.

I used the Holly stamp from Serendipity Stamps. I love it when a card comes together in a matter of minutes. ( not loving it when the photos give me trouble ) I cut a bit off the front of the card and added a strip of gold foil paper to the bottom.  I fussy cut the image and used foam tape to adhere to the card.

Hope you have a wonderful week!

A Bit Vintage

It just makes me happy to be making  a Christmas card!
I am so thankful for the Merry Monday Challenge.
This week just use an ornament on your Christmas card.
The DT is amazing and sure to inspire you!

I decided I could enter this card as I added chunky glitter , and rusty bells on my card.
Congrats again Cathy Weber!
I think this would be considered  Classy and Elegant?
Or would you say Shabby ?

I love this photo! I went with the red, snow and snow covered trees.
Very rare for me to inter one card for three challenges.

The photo below shows more of the sparkle I added.

Hello. Thanks for stoping by.  This card came together pretty fast  today and was easy to photograph. I wanted to use this little scene from a piece of paper I bought. ( sorry no name on the paper anywhere)  I also wanted to use my Purple Onion Designs ornament stamp, and my new ribbon and Rusty Bells from Paper Sweeties.  Tis The Season sentiment is from Serendipity Stamps.

I tried something new for me. I scored the edges of my cut paper to finish it off .( More on that in our SSS Blog Hop)

I hope you all have a very blessed week.

Meet You at the Tree

This top one is for someone I know loves to work with wood.

This is a very simple one layer card with hand made snow ( glitter and glue). I just bought this little stamp at my local stamp store half off , its wood mounted … just something about the wood stamps I still love.  The best part about this card is it will be easy to mail. I wasn't going to post the colored one and then last min. decided to post both.
Maybe this is too simple … I am still on the fence.

 Hope you enjoy your day!
