In Loving Memory of a Dear Friend

We will not be posting cards for the last day of the month at the 12 Kits of Occasions for March.

It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our dear friend   Sharron Gregory On Papillon Wings

Sharron passed away yesterday morning, March 30 from heart complications, as she was home recovering. Sharron was an original or our 12 Kits of Occasions group, I will miss dearly.

We will do a tribute at another time.

Please keep her husband, Harry and family in your prayers during what is already a hard time for all.

Everyday is a gift. God bless you all and your families.

Looking Forward

Welcome to the Keeping Christmas blog hop.

Hello sweet friends! Hoping you are all safe and well.

 I'm so looking forward to Christmas this year! I am keeping busy making a few Christmas cards. I used a Christmas kit from the past, that was such a joy to have and still is, its called: All Through the House from Papertrey Ink designed by Betsy Veldman ( who is now the owner of: The Greetery)

Some of the images are diecut and stamped and some are diecut from patterned paper included in the kit. 

If I may recommend to many of you, that you look through your older kits,   so many of us bought and just have fun with them. Go ahead and make some quick and easy cards using up some of that paper that came those kits.  Have fun, take care!

Crafty Friends are Best

Hello there crafty friends! Welcome to the February:12 Kits of Occasions !

 Our host for the month is the very talented :Jeanne Jachna!

 Jeanne is the queen of patterned paper and color on her cards! Not only did Jeanne die cut and stamp all of the above , Jeanne made enough kits for guest designers as well!

I had so much fun putting my cards together and as always kept most of them CAS . I thought the one above might be fun for a little one to color in ( or an adult :)

 I  fussy cut the bird above out of one of the papers included in the kit!

The card below was so fun to put together as Jeanne had everything already die cut.

I love these sweet crafty buddies!

Pretty Blooms

The Flower Challenge

Hello Friends! 

I used the beautiful BotaniCuts Lily Die,and Fleur Impressions Stamp Set and die From The Greetery  and colored with my Distress Oxide inks. After taking the picture I added some dots to the center of the blooms but didn't have time to retake the photo, sorry.

 I will add a sentiment when I know for sure what this card will be used for, Sympathy or maybe Mother's Day.

Using Leftovers

Hello!

This January for the The 12 Kits of Occasions we are using some of the many leftovers we have from the past years. 

We have some members that are stepping down but never gone as we can still see their beautiful creations as they post them and they will always be in our hearts. We will also have some past members come back and we welcome them back!

  The card above was made using an already cut paper , all I did was cut the middle out with :Papertrey Ink  - Limitless Layers: Heart Stitches Die Collection (set of 4) then stamped with:Balloon Bash Stamp Set also fro Papertrey Ink.

The card below , I used patterned paper from a kit and used Mama Elephant creative cuts , and the same Papertrey Ink stamps and dies as from above and  Concord & 9th Cozy up die . 

 All I did for the card above was add Comforting Commands Stamp Set from The Greetery. Below I just added the already stamped airplane to the already stamped panel.

For the card below I used copic markers to go over the white dots on the Thank you die-cut, then used an envelope die( W Plus 9) with some leftover patterned paper from Jeanne's Kit.

On this card above I used some products from my own:  July Summer 2018 Kit. All I did was add the lemons to the already cut panel from Poppystamps Delicate Branch Collage. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamps.

I really enjoyed using some of the leftovers , I know how hard everyone works on creating there kit and I hate to see any of it go to waste.
