A big tip: Use Papertrey Ink vellum cardstock it's the best by far! It's so sturdy and yet you can still see through it.
I made a big smudge under this heart so I stamped it again on a vellum heart and placed it over the smudge. I always wondered how everyone did this, I learned by accident.
Seven years ago our family had heavy hearts when we learned that our GD Delaney might have Down Syndrome. ( She is the fourth child of 6 ) It was a long two weeks before we knew for sure. I always knew God gave her to the right family … but it was hard, very hard… my heart hurt for my son in law and daughter… lots of tears. Well, we were so wrong to be sad.
I know, I tell Delaney's story a lot. I think if just one person has hope and not too much sadness it will be well worth writing it again. We were given a huge gift seven years ago, I thank God every day for Delaney. She has touched more lives in her seven years . Too long to go into . I love it when she comes up to me and says” mema….I love you and you are so funny"! Her hugs are the best! When someone in her neighborhood has a bad day they just want to spend a few minutes with Delaney and they feel better. How could you not…. she naturally points out all the positive things about you.
I know everyones children and GDC are very special.
Or anything goes!
Thank you!
